THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST

The” GOSPEL OF CHRIST” is “GOOD NEWS” that Jesus came and bore all of our “SINS” for us. We do not have to “ATONE” for our own sins. We don’t have to become “HOLY” enough to EARN SALVATION! It’s God’s free gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

All we must do is believe and receive. BELIEVE what Jesus has done through His death, burial, and resurrection and RECEIVE the cleansing from all your sin and the freedom and liberty it brings.

This Gospel Is a MIRACLE of GOD that was received by Apostle Paul; IT WAS A RECEIVED, NOT AN ORIGINATED, GOSPEL; Paul tells us that he received it by “the revelation of Jesus Christ” (Galatians 1:12). He had the more confidence in it that it was not of himself, and we must have also. Paul’s gospel of Christ came from Christ; God’s Word tells us, “But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed,“ Paul, said this two times, “if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.” The Word of GOD (1 Corinthians 15:1 – 4) tells us that there is NO OTHER Gospel which is the TIE that BINDS God’s people together. To add to this message, take from it, or substitute another MESSAGE is to DESTROY it. When you LOSE the Gospel, you LOSE everything.

“Gospel of Christ,” is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth (Romans 1:16-17). This “Word of Truth” is the Gospel of our Salvation that must be HEARD; and then TRUSTED; and after that, we shall then “BELIEVE” and then enter into the Spirit of “Jesus Christ” Himself, and then be sealed within Him, with that holy Spirit of promise. We are then in Christ Jesus who GOD is made known unto us, WISDOM, and RIGHTEOUSNESS, and SANCTIFICATION, and REDEMPTION. We actually LIVE in Christ and Christ LIVES in us.

As His Word tells us, that God’s gift of “Grace” is Truly, and in reality, His “Son, Jesus Christ,” (John 1:14) full of grace and truth. At our “REBIRTH,” we accepted the free “GIFT” from GOD and received it, and then put on the new man, which is created in righteousness and true holiness after GOD himself. We are then, a “new creature” and the OLD SELF is passed away.

The “SINNER” is GONE. We are SAVED by this “Grace.” Then, “Jesus Christ” came and lives within us (Galatians 2:20). The life which we now live in the “FLESH” is lived in the “FAITH” of Jesus, because scripture shows us no one has perfect faith, even the greatest people of faith are wavering in their faith.

The “Faith” of Jesus Christ is the righteousness of God and is revealed to us through TRUST. This “New Creature” is, in reality, the “Spirit of God” himself who will lead our “Soul” (our Mind, our Will, and our Emotions) in its “Transformation” (Re-creation) into the renewal of our mind. We are of this World, we are not conformed to this World by testing to discern proof of what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. This “FREE” gift from GOD is the promise of “eternal life” through “Grace” who is actually Jesus Christ our Lord.

Through His “Son, Jesus Christ” we have access into this “Grace.” This grace of God has brought “Salvation” to all men who choose to abandon ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live sensible, upright, and godly lives in the present age. The Word of God shows and tells us of His Love for us. God’s WILL for us is to have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4). God gave us “Free Moral Agency” (Deuteronomy 30:19-20) in the decision to choose life or Death (a choice between Salvation and the choice of “unbelief” to Forego an everlasting Life). This option is the word SHOULD, as in scripture of John 3:16, which says “whosover ‘believeth’ in him “should” not perish.” In our first birth, we are “born of the flesh” and “born of water”; but in our second birth, we are “born from above (again)” and “born of the Spirit.” Our first birth leads to death, but our second birth brings that eternal life. The new birth is a new beginning that results in “newness of life” which is preached from the “Gospel of Christ.” The choice to “believe” God’s Word is given, as a WARNING, (COLOSSIANS 2:8-10), “Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.”

God gave us the “Moral Agency” of free will (Deuteronomy 30:19-20). In that choice is “UNBELIEF.” What we believe is Vital to the consequences to our actions. Our Belief system is where our “Philosophy” was grown. Everything that we believe in was formed from our experiences and knowledge gained over our lifetimes. Past experience from Churches taught us that the Holy Spirit came to convict us whenever we sinned. This is “WRONG,” because that would be condemnation. The Holy Spirit will not condemn us. The Holy Spirit is in us to convict us of “Not Believing” on Jesus and ignoring what He tells me. The Holy Spirit actually convinces us of this “Unbelief.”

When Christ comforted His Disciples during “Ascension to Heaven” the Word spoken, warns us of not believing on Him, as in John chapter 16, verses 7 through 9, Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

8 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: Of sin, because they believe not on me; The new “Spirit Man” within us is God Himself along with the “Holy Spirit” who sealed us in the “Promise” that every covenant, contract, bond, obligation, oath, vow, and performance, that man receives through the covenants and blessings of the gospel will be obtained when we are true and faithful to the end.

The Word of God speaks of our “Life Transformation” which comes when the Spirit of God actually converts our life and our existing ways of thinking into the same characteristics of God Himself, and His way of thinking. This is where our Belief system comes in – Human Nature, first of all; you will not do what you will not believe. We must “Believe” in God and His Word. The ability to “Know” of our identity in Christ is a must. We must understand that Man is a 3-part being. We are a “Spirit,” who possess a “Soul” and we live in a physical “body.” We must know that we are a Spirit (no, we do not have one, because the Spirit is the “New Man”) that God placed into us when He created us in righteousness and true Holiness, and our Soul is our mind, will, and emotions, and this existing body is where we live. This, as told in 1 Thessalonians chapter 5, verse 23, And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. We have to know and accept that Man does not save himself, for “salvation is of the Lord.” Our spiritual blessings from the Father, the Son, and the Spirit, and in Jesus Christ are given to us. We have everything needed for life and service. Salvation is all of grace; it is God’s favor bestowed on people who do not and cannot deserve it. Salvation is for God’s glory. Through this Grace, we in Christ are united into a single body of Believers as spoken in Ephesians chapter 1, verse 13, In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, God saves sinners not to solve their problems but to bring glory to Himself, The church will glorify Him for all eternity! Salvation reveals God’s greatness (Ephesians chapters 15-23). Ask God to open your spiritual eyes to see the greatness of His power: Jesus is alive and has conquered every enemy!
